Dean Incher and Raffa took out top honours once again in the Open at the 12th annual Shear Outback Hay Yard Dog Championship Trial yesterday.
Having also won the event together in 2019 and 2022, Dean and Raffa beat Geoff McDougall and Ace by just one point in a run off.

Handlers and their stock dogs were welcomed back this year amidst gusty conditions to run just over 50 Open/Improver entries and almost 80 Novice/Beginner entries.

Congratulations to our winners and a big thank you to judges, Chris Sellars (Open/Improver) and Warwick Doolan (Novice/Beginner).

A big thank you also goes out to valuable sponsors, loyal supporters and hard working volunteers for contributing to such a successful trial, and to the Hay Bonanza team for their delicious catering.
