The Inaugural Murrami Utility Trial was considered a success by competitors, organisers and spectators. We had 2 full days of trialling with the sheep being consistently testing of the whole weekend. The local business community showed outstanding support with over $5,500 in cash and product being provided for prizes and over 15 people, who had never had anything to do with dog trialling, making themselves available to help over the weekend. In the end the Nyngan connection provded too strong for the field of competitors that travelled from Forbes, Rylstone, Lake Cargelligo, Harden, Wagge, Euroa, Finley, Benalla and Gogeldrie. Gary White and Dave Motely travelled from Nyngan with a team of 16 dogs after John White was unable to make it. Gary took out both the Open and the Novice with Dave snapping at his heels. Ian Evans from Deniliquin judged both days and did a great job.
